Product Hunt: launching Nov 10

Quelta vs Higgsfield

Verdict

Higgsfield is a studio for people who direct each shot: many video models in one subscription, camera, lens and light control, and one-click ad templates; Quelta hands you finished product videos for a catalog, each adapted to its market and checked. Per generation Higgsfield costs less, $2.50 per 30-second video at 100 a month on the model named in the price footnote, and that cost changes with the model you pick. The choice is between control and throughput: Higgsfield if you want to direct, Quelta if you want the videos made.

What a usable video costs

Illustrative subscription spend for one 30-second video at 10, 100 and 500 videos a month: for each service, the cheapest published monthly plan for the workflow named in its price footnotes that covers the generations needed. API prices and your team’s own work are excluded, so these are not equivalent service quotes.

Generations per usable video

Self-serve tools charge for every generation, and a usable ad can take more than one. Set your own number.

What a usable video costs
Videos a month10100500
Quelta: starting price per delivered video from $201 from $201 from $201
Higgsfield: price per generation $4.9034 $2.5035 $3.3836
Higgsfield: cost per usable video at two generations3343735383936 $4.90 $8.45 —

Lowest cost per usable video at this volume

Higgsfield costs less per video than Quelta, even at two generations per usable video: $8.45 against Quelta prices from $20, at 100 a month. Quelta’s price is for a delivered video, made and checked for you; your team does not generate or pick takes.

The per-generation row counts one generation per video. The rows for Higgsfield use two generations per usable video: we take the cheapest published plan that covers that many generations and divide its price by the number of usable videos; “—” means we found no published plan that covers it. That is an assumption you can change, not a measured rate for Higgsfield. Remakes needed to pass Quelta’s delivery check are included in its price; your review and requested revisions follow the agreed project scope.

Where Higgsfield is stronger

From the pages of Higgsfield itself. Each point links to its source.

Higgsfield

  • Many video models in one subscription (Seedance, Kling, Veo, Wan, MiniMax and Higgsfield's own), with a published credit price for each. Source
  • Shot-level creative control: Cinema Studio with camera, lens and light control, multi-shot scenes and reusable characters. Source
  • Marketing Studio makes an ad in one click from a product image or URL, from a library of 1,500+ templates. Source
  • Public pay-per-second API and an MCP connector for Claude and other AI agents. Source

What Quelta does not do

  • No self-serve video generator: videos are ordered as a project, starting with a pilot.
  • Not built for one-off videos of a single person talking to the camera.

Which one to choose

Choose Quelta if…

  • You want videos for many products without writing prompts or directing shots.
  • Your ads should run longer than a single generated clip, without stitching clips together yourself.
  • Each market should get its own angle, presenter and voice.
  • Every video should be checked for product accuracy before it goes out, not only scored for engagement.

Choose Higgsfield if…

  • You want to choose a different video model for each shot.
  • You want cinematic control over camera moves, lenses and lighting.
  • You build your own characters and reuse them across videos: Custom AI characters and influencers (AI Influencer, Soul ID).
  • You want to call the models from your own code or from an AI agent.

For sellers, agencies and brands

Sellers

Higgsfield suits a seller who enjoys making content and has time to direct each ad.

A seller with a large catalog and no time to direct needs a finished video per product, which is what Quelta delivers.

Agencies

For concept work and hero spots where every frame is directed, Higgsfield gives an agency the controls.

For catalog and performance videos in volume, Quelta delivers them finished, so the team keeps its time for the hero work.

Brands

Higgsfield re-voices content in other languages (18 languages for voice translation).

Quelta changes the message itself per market: what comes first, who presents it and how it is said.

How to switch from Higgsfield to Quelta

Keep Higgsfield for the shots you want to direct, and send the catalog work to Quelta.

  1. Send product photos, a feed or product page links for one category.
  2. Tell us the markets, the platforms and the look you want, and share any Higgsfield ads that worked as references for the mechanics, not the footage.
  3. Receive the pilot videos, already checked, and run them next to your own.
  4. Add categories and markets as the results come in.

Questions and answers

Is Higgsfield cheaper than Quelta?

Per generation, yes: $2.50 per 30-second video at 100 videos a month on the model named in the price footnote, below Quelta prices from $20 per finished video even at an assumed two generations per usable ad. Other models cost more or less per second. Quelta prices are for finished, checked videos.

Why does the price of a Higgsfield video vary?

Each generation costs credits by model, resolution and length, so the same ad can cost different amounts. Our table uses the model named in its footnote. Quelta charges per finished video instead, from $20.

How long can the videos be?

Higgsfield: 30 s per generation (Seedance 2.5). Quelta: Ads up to 60 s; brand films longer.

Does Higgsfield check the videos?

Its pages describe a virality score for finished ads; checking that the product, text and voice are right is left to you. Quelta checks every video before delivery.

Have you tested Higgsfield?

No. This page uses only what Higgsfield publishes, with a source for each fact, so it says nothing about how its videos look.
